YooHoo!!!!
I got it working. Removing and adding the new account was the final tweak.
Thank you so much for your patience.
If I upgrade to a later version will I have to go through all this again?
BTW the ability to load pics on your site is the best I've ever come across on the net...
I've done so much tweaking I'm thinking I should uninstall office and start from scratch.
If I do that will the install just repopulate the program with the old data?
I'm assuming you removed the account and added it back?
(no I did not remove the account. How do you do that?)
Got the attached from Office 365 Desktop Setup Tool
Sorry for all the post. I've been able to update Outlook to 12.0.6680.5000.
Still asks for password and will not accept it. Can't get any further than
that. :(
I downloaded and install the SP3 updates and my Outlook version is now 12.0.66071000. Just shy of your 12.0.6680.5000
or later requirement.
Where do I find the the update to take me to the higher version?
Thank you for your help. I think the updates may be the issue. Now my question is how do I get the
updates for my Outlook ver. 12.0.4518.1014.
I've been to Microsoft site and it's not clear which update I need. Is there a command to request updates
within windows 10 or Office?
Thanks in...
Attached is a screen shot. Please keep in mind that I am not trying to add an email
account rather I am trying to setup Outlook after installing Office 2007.
My email is a hotmail account.
Attached are all the different windows that pop up. Hope you can help.
This is a brand new HP laptop...
I'm installing Outlook on a new laptop. The first thing after launching is asking me for my
username & password. My hotmail email address is already filled in. I haven't created a
password.
At the top of the window is
Connecting t 0001( lots of numbers) ending in @hotmail.com.
I don't...
