Best configuration for Outlook 2016, Gmail and iCloud

is the conclusion still that there's nothing gained by Office 365 users with iphones, by installing Icloud on their Windows PC's? Since Outlook calendar still doesn't allow more than one notification per calendar event, but the Iphone calendar allows two, I erroneously thought installing Icloud...

Why do i get so many drafts?

My profile has two Office 365 accounts and one Gmail IMAP account, which I rarely use. Notice this happening only on the two Office accounts. Could be related to my unintentional closing of Outlook, but I think it happens much more often than that. Is there a way to turn off the automatic...

Unintentionally closing Outlook w multi monitors

Not totally sure, but when I reopen Outlook it usually doesn't suggest that I open in safe mode. Wouldn't it do that if it had just crashed? if crashed, should I see that in a specific event log or view?

Not sure if it's the most recent versions of Outlook 365 local, or because I'm now running 3 monitors, but Outlook is frequently closing on me when I move to another app in another windows or on another monitor. Not crashing, just gracefully closing without me doing anything. If i didnt use so...

Office 2016, Outlook 2016 Usually have hubby and spouse in one contact that contains both email addresses. When emailing, the addressee name always displays as Jim and Sally even if the underly email address is just to one or the other. Would be better if no name displayed at all so i could...

    Calender reminder emails

I took a second look at that but haven't installed trial, yet. I'm somewhat put off by Mike Sperry's business model of charging per pc, when almost everyone needs one install to their pc and one to their tablet or laptop. I still buy his apps, but, not as enthusiastically as in the past. Tech...

OL 2016 contact: is there a way to prevent an admin from mistakenly deleting a contact?

Happens to me occasionally and luckily I notice it before emptying the Deleted Items folder. But sometimes I'm not so luck. Is there a way to set a warning or require a pw to delete a contact that one otherwise has full rights to? Len Raphael

Creating drafts when I thought I was sending

Something has changed in last 6 months or so of fast release Office 365, such that I've often thought I had sent mail only to find it in draft folder, usually, but not always unsent. I don't think I'm doing anything differently. Len Raphael, Oakland CA

Outlook Office 365 cached mode crashing

Going on week 4 now where one user, me, can't use cached mode on one particular mailbox, without crashing OL. Works fine in non-cached mode. Mailbox size is well under the lowest recommended MS limit, especially after we got online archiving policy to apply correctly. (don't know if that's...

I want to download 36 months of emails, not the default 12 mos, 24 mos, all which the slider in account settings allows you to do. Is there a registry setting to set that to say 36 months? Reason is that even though i can open attachments, read mail etc that's older than say 24 months, I...

Online 3rd party backup of Office 365 cloud

I see the versioning for OneNote and Sharepoint. I don't see it for Contacts or Calendar. The Cloudberry Office 365 backup to your own Amazon S3 or Azure etc. is pretty reasonably priced. Easy enough to find items and restore them.
