Lync presence not synching with Exchange (2013)

Hello again, In need of additional assistance today and hoping someone can help. Exchange 2013 Version 15.0 (Build 1130.7) Lync 2013 client version 15.0.4763.1001 Lync 5.0.8308.xxx Lync and Outlook are no longer showing the proper presence in certain situations. Specifically Out Of Office...

    Social Connector,

So... tell me more about this Social Connector...... We run Outlook 2013, and noted this week in particular that it (SC) has moved over to the "Disable this add-in"/Taking too long? We are not using this to my knowledge (unless LYNC uses it, which by the way, is strictly internal LYNC right...

Outlook: MAC and WIN, can't we all get along?

Client states all of this problem revolves solely around her Mac and Outlook, and never her iPhone. The issue is still open as it happened again to her yesterday. The CHAIR was not notified she accepted, yet all visuals appear as though she had. Bump?

Outlook: MAC and WIN, can't we all get along?

Confirmed. All internal mail stays inside, Mac too... I have to ask my client some details today: I found out she's been traveling more, so she may have accepted via her iPhone, for example.

Outlook: MAC and WIN, can't we all get along?

A bump and update: I have confirmed with my client (Mac user) that she is choosing each time to "Send the Response Now"... and not checking/unchecking any other options. It happened again this Friday.

Outlook: MAC and WIN, can't we all get along?

Hello again, Today's issue may be more of a question than a potential issue. So diving in: I have a Mac (Outlook 2011) user who states that each invite she Accepts in her Outlook never notifies the Chair of the meeting, created in WIN Outlook 2013.... Is this something that can be fixed? Or a...

    Room Finder...GONE??

Hello again: Issue resolved. It was indeed the Exchange Add-in, it had moved to the disabled list just as you said. Re-enabled it, restarted Outllook, and Room Finder returned. Odd how everything worked perfectly without the addin loaded, except this one single button (or so we saw anyway)...

    Room Finder...GONE??

Hi again Diane, All users are configured as Exchange accounts. You'll note this appeared 'suddenly'.. meaning something has changed, my user states he had it up until recently, but cannot image what happened. The Meeting tab, under OPTIONS. It's just not there, where my copy simply highlights...

    Room Finder...GONE??

Hello again gang, I've got 2 users (of 100) that have suddenly lost the ROOM FINDER option in Outlook 2013. I'm not certain how it got removed, but I'm certain it's not a simple "put it back". I would think if a user could toggle it off, I could toggle it back on, but this doesn't seem to be...

    Another recurring meeting question

Back again.. with a new question about an old known problem. This time though, I searched the web and wouldn't you know? I ended up on Slipstick/here. I promise it'll be my new go-to place re: Outlook 2013. lol. I found this on Slipstick and I've copied it below: An Outlook user asked this...

Duplicate Task LIST, not "duplicate tasks"....

Late update, sorry. The switches worked..... THEN we found out he went and deleted all his tasks and started using the TO DO list exclusively. Thanks for your help Diane. Great resource here!

Duplicate Task LIST, not "duplicate tasks"....

Thanks Diane. Best practice is to: Close Outlook/Office/Lync, and run this, yes?

Duplicate Task LIST, not "duplicate tasks"....

I've been researching this pretty steady now, and stumbled on the Outlook /repair switches. Is there anything available to reset her Tasks view? So far I have had no success and the powers that be are growing impatient.

Duplicate Task LIST, not "duplicate tasks"....

Both fields are empty and do not contain any tasks. We3 cannot remove either one, as the option to do so does not exist. I believe she is inhouse tomorrow so I may be able to post screenshots if needed. At one point a mispelled name on the CEO may have existed, but was resolved long ago...

Duplicate Task LIST, not "duplicate tasks"....

Similar yes.. But Tasks would be the user name twice, like "Tasks-Diane" and "Tasks-Diane" again. She goes to his tasks via her Calendar and then Tasks I believe. I'd grab a screenshot but "G" is hard to pin down.. she's our "Sherpa to the CEO" ..lol Do you need more info?

Duplicate Task LIST, not "duplicate tasks"....

Hello, I've got a user who admins for the CEO of our company. We're all on Outlook/Exchange 2013. Problem is: User G (the admin) sees under MY TASKS, both herself, and TWO "Tasks" for user S (the CEO)... This is not duplicate tasks mind you, but the "category" tasks itself.. (Sorry for the...
