    Moving from 2010 to 365

I believe the 2010 PST file is 32 bit. Is the PST file compatible with 365? (I thought that was the reason for using drag and drop.) If I were to do an export, would I export from 2010 to a new PST file? Thank you!

    Moving from 2010 to 365

What is a good way to move files from Outlook 2010 to Outlook 365 AFTER Outlook 365 has been used for a few weeks? I opened the 2010 PST file in 365, and I could see all of the messages, but I could not drag the many folders under the Inbox except by doing them one at a time. Maybe that's not...

    Manual Archiving 2016

Yes. That's exactly what I have. So how do I clean out my POP account (archiving, not deleting?) It looks like I have to remove the Exchange account. That's really bizarre.

    Manual Archiving 2016

There is no Clean Up Old Items in Tools. I have Mailbox Cleanup, Empty Deleted Items Folder, and Set Archive Folder. My Outlook is 2016 MSO (16.0.12730.20144) 32-bit. If I cannot archive the old way (create a .pst file, archive all items older than 1/1/2019 to 2018.pst), how do I manually...

    Manual Archiving 2016

Since upgrading to Outlook 2016 a couple of years ago, I haven't done any archiving. I only used manual archiving to move emails from each year into its own PST file. All emails from 2017 are in 2017.pst. With 2016, I can't figure out how to do that. The only tutorials don't match what I'm...

    Strange Calendar Entries

Yes, that's correct. I'm sorry if I misunderstood your question. The problem has been solved. Thank you!

    Strange Calendar Entries

It's his personal calendar shared with the rest of the group. Thanks for the information. I'd never heard of that option before. I see it now.

    Strange Calendar Entries

We use Office 365. A user's calendar is attached. Any time he accepts an invitation to a meeting, it shows as "Busy" (with no other information) on his calendar. The entries are not marked confidential. He shows up in Scheduling Assistant as attending the meeting on the Tuesday 10:30 entry. Is...

    Account Changes

Well, never mind. I just tried again, and it's working. Go figure.

    Account Changes

Any further thoughts on this problem? I can't understand my Microsoft changes such things. It wasn't broken.

    Account Changes

I'm double clicking on the existing account. I get the same response either method.

    Account Changes

Microsoft has changed the interface in Outlook 2016 to get to the screen that is used to configure account settings for mail servers. I need to verify my POP settings, and I can't get to the screen. A post says to go through Control Panel | Mail, but when I do, I get a warning that wants me to...

    Message List Font Changed

Well, well, well. After resetting the "Pin to Taskbar" problem, the other problem has gone away. Not only has it gone away, but also Outlook reset the font to 8 pt., and all is well. Go figure. Somehow they're related. Windows must have been sending mixed signals to Outlook.

    Message List Font Changed

The problem is not fixed, and I have restarted Outlook numerous times. I had to change the font to see it (10 pt.) so later today, I'll change it back to see if the problem persists. The second icon problem was consistent, but I just fixed it. I unpinned it from the Taskbar and then repinned...

    Message List Font Changed

There's another problem, as well. When I start Outlook, it creates an additional icon in the task bar. It wasn't doing that before. It's confusing.

    Message List Font Changed

When I opened Outlook 2016 on my Windows 7 computer this morning, the font size in the Message List has changed to a very small one. I checked the font settings in Other Settings. They are set as they have been at at 8 pt. Segoe UI. To be sure, I compared the settings with my Outlook 2013...

    Outlook 2016 Not Closing

Thanks, Diane. I think you're right on the money. Since I couldn't get the iCloud account to authenticate with Outlook (logging in with webmail is no problem), I removed the account completely. The problem appears to be solved. I should have known it was an Apple problem.

    Outlook 2016 Not Closing

For some reason, Outlook 2016 now doesn't close fully when I exit it. I have to force quit it. Naturally, I've followed all of the recommendations I can find including disabling all Add-Ins, which makes not difference. If I start Outlook in the safe mode, the problem is not there. The only other...

    Outlook 2016 Not Default Client

Hi, Diane. Thanks for taking the time to try to help. My HKLM has Microsoft Outlook, Windows Mail, and Windows Live Mail. My HKCU has only "Microsoft Outlook". I haven't tried that, but I will. Maybe that step will point to the offender.
