We have recently implemented password expiry so passwords will expire after
90 days, when we do that, some users don't get the prompt during login to change password, rather in Outlook they were prompted. However, changing password via Outlook doesn't seem to work. Any way to disable the password change prompt in Outlook? Thanks

I imagine it could depend on the versions of Outlook and Exchange you are
using. -- Ed Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems." .. Hi Ed,
Clients are mostly Outlook 2003 with SP3 installed, server is Exchange 2007 SP1. Thanks. Hi,
We have had the problem of users not getting their password notification. For them the Outlook prompt is the only notification they get. For us it seems to have steamed from renaming the PCs while connected to AD. Probably a GUID not getting reset. They only way to ensure user PW notification is; pull the PC out of the domain into a work group, delete the computer account on AD and WSUS if you have it, rename the PC while in the work group (can be the same name in which case you don't need to rename), rejoin the domain. Takes a couple of boots. Don't forget to move the account to the OU and WSUS category if needed. If someone knows of an easier way please post. I think I still have 6 or so more PCs to fix.
