Hi there,
You can use the Command Shell, move-clusteredmailboxserver. With SP1 you can also do this in the Exchange Management Console too. Let me know if you need details on that - although if you locate the CMS it should be self explanatory. Note that you do not failover the cluster in failover clustering anymore. Oliver |

Oliver thanks.
I am running Exchange 2007 with SP1. So I should be able to do it using the Cluster Admin Console - Correct????? I dont have a test env. to test it. What you mean by ...you do not failover the cluster in failover clustering anymore. Why not? I normally do so with the command:
CLUSTER GROUP "Cluster Group" /MOVE: It just seems like good practice to me. But I'm interested in any documentation that explains why it isn't a good idea and/or isn't necessary. -- Ed Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems." .. Thanks Ed.
I am running Windows 2003Ent. with Exchange 2007. Just want to confirm - on my passive node in my computer I only see C: drive. And under my disk management I see the SAN drives with red stop sign says ..unknown and unreadable. No drive letters visible yet. Is this because its passive node I guess ...once I fail over this should be ok as this is ok on my active node????? Advise Please. Thanks, "Ed Crowley [MVP]" wrote: > Why not? It's been so long since I've done an SCC I'll have to leave that for someone
else to answer. Now that CCR is available I can't fathom the business value of SCC. -- Ed Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems." .. Hi,
Sorry been on the TechNet forums :-) Using cluster.exe bypasses Exchange healthchecks before the move: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/l.../aa998282.aspx Oliver "Ed Crowley [MVP]" news:ucVqwqnVKHA.2932@TK2MSFTNGP04.phx.gbl... > Why not? Hey WP,
Yes the passive node will not be able to see the disks, as these are in the Exchange SCC Cluster Group and are with the active CMS node. So don't worry.
