On all of our PCs (Windows XP SP3, Office 2007 SP2, no Office Addons) we have
the following problem: When you go to contacts, select for example 5 contacts, then choose print --> "only selected items", outlook crashes, no matter which "print format" you choose. If you choose "all items", there is no problem. The eventlog shows: Faulting application outlook.exe, version 12.0.6423.1000, stamp 49b08185, faulting module outlook.exe, version 12.0.6423.1000, stamp 49b08185, debug? 0, fault address 0x0024bc7a. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks, Christian

Diane,
thank you for your answer. I deleted OutlPrnt in "C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\chris\Anwendungsdaten\Microsoft\Outl ook" but Outlook crashes again after a new OutlPrnt with exactly the same filesize as the old one is created. I also get the same entry in the eventlog as before. Are you using a German version of Outlook or an English version?
Do you get the same results when trying to print in Outlook Safe Mode? Start-> Run; outlook.exe /safe Also, see if there is an update for your printer driver available. I am using the german version of Outlook 2007. I tried safe mode without
success. Outlook crashes. For testing I deleted all printer drivers except Microsoft XPS Document Writer from a PC. No luck. The crashes occur with the views "address cards", "detailed address cards" and "business cards". The list views (by category, telephone list etc.) work. I also resetted the views to the default settings without success. I think it's a SP2 issue. I installed a new PC with Outlook 2007 (no SP2). The problems didn't occur. After installing SP2 the printing problem appear. Hi Christian,
Sorry for my late responds. I've been able to reproduce this behavior on additional machines (even non-German). This indeed only seems to be the case when printing a selected address card. Previewing the print output is enough to make Outlook crash and restart. I could repro it with the pre-SP2 update as well. I've reported it as a bug directly to the Outlook team. If there will be any additional information, I will report it here or otherwise keep an eye on Windows Update ;-) Thanks! -- Robert Sparnaaij [MVP-Outlook] Coauthor, Configuring Microsoft Outlook 2003 http://www.howto-outlook.com/ Outlook FAQ, HowTo, Downloads, Add-Ins and more http://www.msoutlook.info/ Real World Questions, Real World Answers ----- "Christian Maushart" <ChristianMaushart@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:069B9FD8-7277-4F61-B376-F4A0C23E1E8B@microsoft.com... > I am using the german version of Outlook 2007.
