Outlook password suddenly not working!

Help! I've had a password for Outlook for months -- I type it in at least
once per day, so I've not forgotten it. Suddenly, it's telling me that my
password is incorrect! How can this be? I know it isn't a CAPS issue,
because I get that popup when capslock is on. What is going on here? Using
Windows XP Professional.

Thanks,
Patti

What is telling you? When does this happen? What is the title of the
dialogue? What do you click just before it appears? What version of Outlook?
What account type?

Brian, thank you for your response. I didn't think my message was accepted
because I got a window that said the service was down or something when I
clicked submit after typing my question.

If it happens again, I will post again with the details you asked for. I
had already tried rebooting my computer and still had the problem. I gave up
and logged onto my email's website, messed around, then tried Outlook again,
and it worked. But I'm pretty scared. I think I may delete the password.
