Hi Folks,

Believe this is known as a "silent failure". So, say an expected message

from a known sender does not arrive by a particular time, how can I send an

email/alert to another mailbox...?

Any thoughts appreciated!

Many Thanks...

SMTPViewer.com is a free service that does this for you.

"SMTPViewer.com will read the e-mail and raise an alarm in the monitor view if the target word "Failed" is matched. The site is optimized for mobile devices so you can keep track of your monitored devices from anywhere. The site can also warn you if the backup server(This example) has not sent an e-mail for a set time period say 24 hours."
