Our corp policy is that when working in a meeting room we just RD [connect

with Remote Desktop] to our own desktop from the meeting room's PC.

A side effect is that when you navigate in Outlook (or get reminders,

whatever) everyone in the room can see private appointments.

Is there a means to tell Outlook not to display YOUR private appointments in

YOUR Outlook session?

You could make a View that filters out Private appointments and set it to

that View when you are the meeting room.

Turn off Reminders for that day's appointment manually.

Does the computer project to a large screen visible to everyone? Only people

looking over my shoulder can see my calendar when I do this unless the

screen is projected - in that case, close outlook or if you are training in

outlook, make a new profile to a test mailbox. You shouldn't use your live

mailbox for training.

You can turn off reminders or close the reminder dialog... for events you'll

need to a custom view that hides appointments you don't want to see. If you

are using your system to run a powerpoint, close outlook.

I'll give the "view" trick a shot.

Thx.

Typically, yes, the situation is that the screen is projected, then at some

point of the meeting the discussion moves to "when can we have the next

meeting" at which point I have to bring up Outlook...
