I would like to block email messages larger than 2MB to keep from getting
very large files in my inbox. I receive many files between 4 and 8 MB from
well meaning friends sending me you tube videos. I just want to blok these.

Ctrl+alt+S to open the send and receive dialog - go into Edit and set a
limit on downloads. Not that not all accounts support this - but if yours
does, it will download headers for larger messages and nly download ones you
mark for download.

PS - tell your friends to send links to the youtube videos instead.
