Hello!

I installed Outlook 2007 in my PC, and have configured my exchange account.

Ever since I have configured my account, my Outlook hangs quite frequently.

Have tried disabling some of the add-ins, and have also disabled instant

search and RSS feeds. But, the problem remains the same

I am also not able to install the update patch for Outlook (KB933493)

It is giving an error "The expected version of the product was not found on

the system"

I would be really greatfull if somebody could help me to get rid of this

problem.

When you already have applied Service Pack 2 for Office 2007, then you won't

need that update as Service Pack 2 supersedes that update.

Does it work correctly in Outlook Safe Mode?

Start-> Run; outlook.exe /safe

When exactly does it hang?

If upon send/receive interval, uninstall your virus scanner's integration

with Outlook and try again.

Thank you for the sugesstion

Tried opening in Safe mode, but the issue remains the same. Also tried

disabling the add ins.

It does not hang on one particular action (like send/receive), but hangs at

any instant like drafting mails or opening a mail etc.

Also tried scanpst and scanost, but the issue is not solved

The MS outlook consists of many important data which are encrypted by the users. I used the Outlook to transfer the official information to other users, during such process I found that the Data files started getting lost. Laptop Data Recovery allowed me to repair the Outlook application and helped me to get back the lost data and send them to the other users.
