Outlook 2007 clients cannot connect to exchange 2007 server

when MS outlook 2007 (we don't have outlook 2003 clients) is launched on

client pcs, the error is received: verify you are connected to the network

and are using the proper server and mailbox name. the connection to

microsoft exchange is unavailable. outlook must be online or connect to

complete this action.

outlook web works fine.

the metabase has been restored from a backup and the issue seemed to occur

after that was done. any ideas?

Create a new mail profile and test...it's likely a problem with the old

cache / OST file.
