I just installed Office Pro on my new computer with Windows 7. The first few
times I used Outlook it worked fine, however, for the last few days I keep
getting the error message "Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook. Cannot open
the Outlook window." Is anyone else having similar issues? And if so, how
does one remedy the problem?

Any help/suggestions would be appreci

We need to know what version of Office Pro you installed and what version of
Windows 7 you're running.

That should of course be outlook.exe[SPACE] /resetnavpane

You need to reset the navigation pane to fix it. To do this, at the Start
search field, Start menu, Run type:
outlook.exe /resetnavpane

FWIW, which flavor of a Windows version rarely makes a difference, except
for some networking/logon issues, which are not supported in Home.

I was considering the case where maybe Office XP Pro was being installed on a
version of Windows 7 that didn't offer the virtual mode Windows XP to run it.
