I have read all of the post from the same type of questions and everything

emails in my outlook 2007 mail?

Try disabling the email scanner in your AV application...

Asking a question?

Please tell us the version of the application you are asking about,

your OS, Service Pack level

and the FULL contents of any error message(s)

It's pointless to suggest anything new when we don't know what "new" means; we

have no idea what you have tried already. Tell us exactly what you've tried

to far and we may be able to suggest something you haven't tried.

I am using Outlook 2007. I have 5 POP email (all different people) accounts

setup. Two of them are setup to leave messages on server so they can be

retrieved anywhere. Have disabled email scanner in AVG antivirus program.

Also went thru all rules and checked off "stop processing" option and cleaned

up some duplicate rules. If I leave Outlook open it just d/l's current mail.

If I close it and reopen it d/l's some mail dating back 6 months or so. Not

sure what else to do and need help. Tired of deleting 1500+ emails.

Did you try a new mail profile? The information Outlok uses to remember what

has been downloaded is a per-profile setting and can get damaged so that

Outlook doesn't remember. A new profile can fix that up. You can create a

new profile and a new PST, allowing Outlook to download all the old mail to

the new PST then, when it's finished, go back to using your old PST, dumping

the new PST with all the old messages in it.

Outlook can also fail to record what has been downloaded or not if it doesn't

disconnect cleanly from the server or if it doesn't close cleanly when you

shut it down.

Brian - I tried what you recommeded below and it work to some degree. I still

get duplicates now only on the accounts that are set to leave messages on the

server. Any other suggestions?
