My wife's computer suffered a HDD crash and now I'm rebuilding it from scratch.

Before the crash, Outlook 2000 worked just fine on both of our home office
computers, publishing and searching to a free/busy folder located on my
machine.

But now, I cannot seem to properly configure the free/busy path information
in her Outlook. Here is what the path info looks like in my Outlook.

Publish at this URL: file://\\C:\Documents and Settings\Jim Hopkins\My
Documents\Outlook FreeBusy\jim-hopkins.vfb

Search at this URL: file://\\C:\Documents and Settings\Jim Hopkins\My
Documents\Outlook FreeBusy\%NAME%.vfb

Any suggestions as to how I should configure her Outlook free/busy
publishing and searching paths to find the free/busy folder on my machine?

I hope I've clearly explained my need; any help will be appreciated.

OK, it's been a few days and no one has responded to this query. I'm
wondering if it's because network path structures are poorly understood by
the MS community.

So, let me try to elucidate a response with a few more facts.

This is a simple home office environment, both machines running XP using
Outlook 2000. No MS Exchange server here. No server at all, just the two
machines where one acts as a server for free/busy info. This machine is not
the one that had a HDD crash but the other did. I've shown the path to the
free/busy info on the 'server' machine. Paths are easy for me to structure as
long as I do not have to specify a file/folder location outside of the
machine itself. It's when I have to reference a place somewhere on the
network (in this case just another machine plugged into the same router as
the 'server' machine.

Please, can anyone help. I've tried everything I know to make it work but no
success so far. Do I need to map the server location as a network drive for
it to work or not.
