Can anyone tell me the dos commands to stop the exchange store, so that I can

Exchange 2007 running on SBS 2008.

Do you mean to stop the Exchange IS service, or dismount a database?

Either way, use PowerShell ;)

For the database: Get-MailboxDatabase | Dismount-Database will dismount all

mailbox databases.

To dismount databases for a specific server: Get-MailboxDatabase -Server

<server> | Dismount-Database

To dismount a spoecific database: Dismount-Database -Identity <database
In all cases, Mount-Database will mount them again

Is it possible to run Powershell from a command file?

If so, how?
