Hi,all

I have a need to obtain a copy of a file that is contained in a folder (say

hold) in my personal folder structure of outlook. The file would then be

transferred to a folder in my access file structure so that I can utilise it

within my database.

My idea is that a user would click on a button within access to launch

either pickfolder or modOpenSaveFile or clsCommonDialog dialog window to

navigate to the folder(Hold) and the open / save routine would be able to

save it to say c:\TempHold.

I have found a code example regarding setting a reference to an exchange

public folder.

http://www.fabalou.com/Outlook/GetOutlookFolder.asp

However I do not have a enough knowledge of outlook to expand on it.

Hence I would be most grateful for any help.

Send a request to patrickfinucaneca@gmail.com if you can program and

understand VBA code.

That you for the suggestion but as this is a newsgroup I would rather share

any dialog with the group

K. I doubt an Access app can be attached to a newsgroup message. Good

luck in your search.
