I saved my 2003 Contacts via the Save My Setting Wizard. Looks like it saved a .ops file. Outlook 2010 is looking for a .pst file. How do you transfer this infomation? The original files are nolonger avalible so I can't go back and save them to a .pst.

You cannot use the Save My Settings wizard to transfer Outlook data from Outlook 2003 to Outlook 2010. The wizard works only for Outlook 2003 to Outlook 2003. Here's how to transfer your data: Moving Outlook to a New Computer . If you don't have the original PC and files, you are completely out of luck.

The .ops file will save or restore your configuration settings for Outlook 2003. It will not save the outlook data file (.pst). You have to manually copy the file to take a back up of outlook data file. I"m afraid you may have lost the data if you don"t have the file saved.

Description and use of the Save My Settings Wizard:-
