For some reason I have started having a problem with forwarding emails that causes Outlook to freeze and not go anywhere. I cannot specify what types of emails freeze as it is sporadic, but they seem to have graphics most of the time, which should not be an issue but is. The only way I have been able to unfreeze is to go to Task Master and reboot, which typically shows Outlook restarting and gets me back to my email inbox. This allows me to continue doing what I wanted to do but evnetually freezes again. Not only is this a nuisance but if I have other windows open, it closes them. I have not lost anything in Outlook that I am aware of, but can't figure out why this is happening and how to stop it from happening again. Anyone out there with similar issues and a fix? Thank you.

Do you have a virus scanner installed which integrates itself with Outlook? Uninstall this integration part of your virus scanner and try again; you'd still be sufficiently protected by your on-access scanner part of the virus scanner. For more details see;

Otherwise; does it work correctly in Outlook Safe Mode?
Start-> type; outlook.exe /safe

If so, then the issue is probably caused by an add-in that you have installed. To troubleshoot see the steps in;
