Hoping someone can answer this, as the technet article "Understanding Permissions Coexistence with Exchange 2007" has a Writing Not Started status.
In a mixed Exchange 2007/2010 environment will users granted the Exchange 2007 “Organization Administrator” permission will be granted the equivalent “Organization Management” permission in Exchange 2010 or are these kept seperate? My feeling is the permission will be granted, but I really don't know 100%.
In case you're wondering, I'm looking at a scenario where a shared Org would host different business units running different versions, and both want to be able to create and manage their own send connectors.
If anyone knows the answer it will save me some lab time.
