Hi,

Do you have any anti-virus application installed on the computer?

Please try to disable all the anti-virus related service and then check the issue again.

Besides, I recommend you to perform a cleanboot and then check the issue again.

Xiu

Hi,

If you do have CA eTrust AV installed, looks like it is a known issue.

Please try to recreate the outlook profile and then check the issue again.

If that is not the case, then please try to use process explorer to narrow down the issue.

A. With Safe Mode.

1. To open outlook in safe mode, Click Start---- Run---- type in the run box, “outlook /safe” (without quotation marks)

2. Download and extract Process Explorer from http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sysinternals/ProcessesAndThreads/ProcessExplorer.mspx

3. Double-click Procexp.exe

4. On the View menu make sure “Show lower pane” is checked.

5. Press CTRL + D

6. In the Process Explorer window, scroll down the list of files and then select Outlook.exe.

7. On the File menu click Save As

8. Save Outlook.exe.txt to your desktop and post it here.

B. With Normal Mode.

1. Start Outlook.

2. Replay the steps from 2-8 and then post the result here.

Hi,

I have AV Symantec which we disabled.

I tried Safe mode also but that didn't helped.

One more update, Outlook Online Mode as well as works fine their is no issue with it.

I have no idea what else to do. I have heard that i will be get fixed in SP1 which will be released in the month of JUNE 2010

Please let me know if there is any work around.

Thanks, -GULAB

What is the version of your outlook?

You mean the sp1 for Exchange 2010?
