Microsoft office outlook 2007 cannot find existing contacts and emails on my computer. Could anybody help?

Yes, thanks for you responds.

In my inbox in Outlook 2007, i try to search for emails using the " Search Inbox" at the top of my index box and it comes up with " No matches found for " ----" , even though i'm looking at an email with that title. The same occurs when serching for one of my contacts.

Could it be where my program is searching for my information?

Try searching in outlook safe

Click on Start > All Programs > Accessories > Run copy and paste the following command line and press Enter

Outlook /safe

If you are able to search then try uninstalling and reinstalling the desktop search

Click on Start > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs

Thanks for the advice but that did not solve the problem. Any more suggestions?
