The documentation about OWA Web Parts on Exchange Server 2010 is confusing.

Introduction to Outlook Web App Customization first states:

"Using Outlook Web App Web Parts

You can use components of Outlook Web App in your Web pages and applications by formulating URLs and then using the resulting HTML. "
<!---->

A few lines later it states:

"Exchange 2010 Outlook Web App cannot be used as Web parts."

Are they talking about different things are the two sections in conflict one with the other?

Also, the 2010 version removed the link to an article showing how to customize the view of the webpart.
Here's the 2007 version:
"Using Outlook Web Access Web Parts

You can use components of Outlook Web Access in your Web pages and applications by formulating URLs and then using the resulting HTML. For more information, see How to Use Outlook Web Access Web Parts."

In summary what I want to know is if the investments made on using OWA Web Parts in Exchange Server 2007 can be carried on to Exchange Server 2010.

Hi,

Yes, that is disabled in current version of Exchange 2010 due to resource limit. That will be enabled in the future released version. Please be more patient with this feature.

Thanks
