Configuring Outlook POP3/SMTP profile - HELP

Hi,

If that question is not to this forum, excuse me.

Well, my question is the following, I have installed an Exchange 2010 and the users will use the POP3 connection instead of MAPI/RPC connection (superior orders).

Can I use the PRF file to create a profile with POP3 and SMTP connection?

Thanks for while.

Use the Custom Installation Wizard or a 3rd party tool to create a PRF, but instead of an Exchange account configure an POP/SMTP account. More info (refers to 2003 but gives an idea):
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/office-2003-resource-kit/customizing-outlook-profiles-by-using-prf-files-HA001140258.aspx

(and a bit curious about the arguments on this decision)

Hi Michel,

one more question, the PRF works fine on Outlook 2007?

Thanks again.
