When I try to create a send connector on a new Exchange 2010 box, I get the error:

Summary: 1 item(s). 0 succeeded, 1 failed.
Elapsed time: 00:00:01
Exchange1 Send Connector
Failed

Error:
The parent object for Exchange1 Send Connector could not be found. Please check that Connections exists.

What does this mean? What is this "Connections" that I am supposed to confirm exists?

The Get-Sendconnectors returned nothing at all. I was able to fix it, though, by running 'setup /p'. Somehow during all of the installs/attempted fixes/uninstalls, the connections object in AD was deleted. Setup simply recreated that object and I was able to create a send connector.

Thanks for the reply.
