trying to set up automatic replies in microsoft outlook

I am having trouble setting up automatic office replies in microsoft office outlook 2007 .....the replies do not send, any answers?

If you have a functional Out of Office Assistant, you have to be using Outlook with an Exchange Server. You may need to talk to your Exchange Server Administrator, Exchange Servers are set to NOT send automatic replies or out of office messages to the Internet by default; this is done to prevent email loops. Your Exchange Server Admin can enable this for you.Hal
