What a mistake. Uninstalled SQL because I thought it was something not needed. Now Outlook comes up looking for something related to SQL and can't find it. I can dismiss the error dialogue box and continue to use Outlook just fine but it takes a long time initially to fire up Outlook because of this error.

Reinstalled SQL Server 2000 but I don't know how to deal with the linkages within Outlook.

Some advise/help would be great.

Are you using Business Contact Manager?

If you are not using BCM disable the add-ins for BCM TO DO THIS,

1. Open Outlook.

2. Click on Tools->Trust center->Add-ins.

3. Click GO for COM-Add-ins.

4. Clear the check box for BCM add-ins.

5. Click ok.

6. Close and open outlook.

Thanks for those tips, however I cannot find those items in Outlook 2003.

I searched around a bit but couldn't find any Add-ons referring to BCM.

Doing a google search for "disable business contact manager in outlook 2003" came up with this link:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/903094

Any other ways of doing this from within Outlook rather than registry mods?
