We have a new PC installed with Office 2007, but we wish to continue to use 2003. We have uninstalled 2007. Excel 2003 now works after it reinstalled itself. Outlook 2003 no longer works on this PC but still works on other PC's that have not had the modification. It worked immediately prior to the above action.

You can't have two versions of Outlook installed side-by-side in the same OS instance. Excel, Word and most of the other office apps don't mind, but Outlook does.

Thanks Russ,

I removed and then reinstalled Office 2003. The email account suddenly worked with all the previous messages in the inbox and no need to recreate the account.

Many thanks for your assistance.

Mike
