Since you don't state your Windows or Outlook version, it's not possible to tell you definitively where to find SCANPST. It will be in %CommonProgramFiles%\System\MSMAPI\1033 for Outlook 2003 or earlier, %ProgramFiles%\Microsoft Office\Office12 or %ProgramFiles(x86)%\Microsoft Office\Office12 for Office 2007, or %ProgramFiles%\Microsoft Office\Office14 or %ProgramFiles(x86)%\Microsoft Office\Office14 for Office 2010.

When you said "have done a restore", exactly what do you mean by that? Did you do a system restore using a System Restore Point or a system restore using the factory-supplied system restore disk or partition?
