Outlook 2007 and 2010 do not show new emails for a lagged period of time, on Exchange 2010 RTM RU4

2 days ago we started receiving tickets that new emails wouldn't show up in Outlook unless a user performed a manual send/receive. I tested and confirmed that this is an issue and it affects Outlook 2007 and 2010 users on Exchange 2010 RTM RU4. The messages are NOT stuck in any queues and when I have OWA and Outlook open, the messages show up instantly in OWA. It is only affecting the Outlook 2007 and 2010 clients.

What happens if you create a new Outlook profile?

How mnay CAS servers? Are they in an array? Using a load-balancer? Did something change?


How"s the issue currently?

Please restart the RPC Client Access service on the CAS server, and then check if the issue again

If the issue still persists, please enable the store tracing for the issue, and then send the Etl to Microsoft CSS (Customer Service and Support) for further investigation [US, outside of US]
