I have approximately 4-5 folders that I keep in my navigation pane that are referenced daily. Today when I tried to open Outlook too view mail, I literally watch them dissappear right out of the pane. I can still see them if I try to search mail, but I need them to be back where I had them, can somebody please help, I am just not that familiar with 2010.

did you try restarting outlook? We've seen cases where the navigation pane is corrupt and the folders appear when outlook is restarted. They usually disappear again though and the only long term fix is resetting the navigation pane. You'll need to add the folders back to the Favorites list (right click on each folder and choose Add to Favorites - drag to adjust the position).

Close Outlook. At the Start search field on Vista or Windows7 Start menu or in the Start menu, Run command (Windows key + R), type

outlook.exe /resetnavpane

Then press Enter (or OK button) to restart Outlook.

Note: Make sure there is a space between the words.
