Email Reminders show up only when in Outlook with Windows 7 - way to fix?

Email Reminders show up only when activly in Outlook 2007 with Windows 7 operating system. When I used Windows Vista or XP, I could be in any application like MS word & a reminder would pop-up. Now with Windows 7, reminders never pop-up unless Outlook is open. Any way to set options or fix this. Missing meetings.

The reminders are working but changes in Windows 7 and Outlook prevents them from taking focus away from whatever you are doing. It's my experience that they do come up on top in IE but no where else.




At this time the suggestions are either of two addins - Reminder manager from Slovak tech or Reminder Alerts by More Productive Now. Reminder Alerts is still in beta testing but I'm happy with - except its 32bit only.
