One of our user created a mail after changing the system date to a previous date to show that he send the mail earlier. The mail is only available in the user "Sent Items" folder, not received to recipient. The user using Outlook 2007 as Pop3 client, no exchange server.

Is there a way to find the correct date of creation.

Any help ?

The mail server or antispam software could have dropped it as spam because the date was wrong, or it could be in the recipients junk mail folder, for the same reason. Depending on how the recipient sorts, it could be either with the messages on the date outlook was set to or the date it really was sent.

FWIW, changing the computer date is generally pointless - the message header will have the date the mail server took it from outlook.
