Outlook 2010 - Tasks Do Not Appear In To-Do Bar

Hello,

I'm seeking help regarding tasks on the to-do bar. My tasks are not appearing in the to-do bar, while my calendar appointments do appear. Even when I create a new task via the to-do bar (due today), it doesn't appear upon saving.

I've tried resetting the customizing the view, but that hasn't helped.

Also, if it helps, the tasks do not appear below the calendar view either.

How many data files are in your profile? Are you creating the task in a non-default data file? If so, you need to make sure the data file is enabled for reminders




Right-click on the top level of the data file and choosing Data File Properties. Verify the option to “Display reminders and tasks from this folder in the To-Do Bar” is enabled.
