Hi all

I have an annoying problem I hope someone has a solution for. In my calendar I have two calendars, one is my Exchange account (work) and the other a read-only Google calendar Internet subscription (private). I have them in one calendar group called 'My Calendars' displaying both in overlay.

Here is the problem: every time I open Outlook the Internet calendar has moved up and become the primary calendar. So when I want to add an event, I have to change it to the Exchange calendar by moving it up in the calendar group. Naturally I can't write to the Internet calendar and it's only there for viewing purposes - I want to add event to my work calendar at work!

Thanks for any solutions,

Mikael

That's weird. The position shouldn't matter but it sounds like maybe google is moving it. Try making a second calendar group and moving the google calenar into it..

Also, are you using the calendar sync tool that is for the free accounts or the one for the google apps accounts that are not free? I'll see if i can repro, but I know the two sync apps are not exactly the same and I don't have a paid apps account. :(

See here:

If I right click the Calendar (exchange) and select 'Move up' it becomes the primary. But when I restart Outlook, MS (google calendar) is moved up automatically and becomes the primary for adding new events.

I don't sync the google calendar, insted I only subscribe to an Internet calendar (ics-file).
