I need to modify the Month_StandardMonth01.catx calendar printing assistant template so that the Location field of meetings on the calendar are not displayed. Is this possible? I have already tried removing the <ContentElement Source="Location" /> from the Content.xml file but that did not work. Is there something else I need to edit in the Content.xml file so that the meeting location field is not displayed?

Thanks,

Jason

That goes to the all day events.

This line is hourly items:
CompactList Padding="2" Orientation="Fill" FontSize="12pt" TypeFilter="AppointmentsTasks"<compactlist TypeFilter="AppointmentsTasks" FontSize="12pt" Orientation="Fill" Padding="2"></compactlist>

Thank you. I removed that line but the meeting locations are still appearing on the calendar. I'm editing the content.xml file that's in the Month_StandardMonth01.catx file. My intent is to be editing the calendar in the Month Templates named Standard Month 01 Letter in the Calendar Printing Assistant. Thanks.

According to http://blogs.technet.com/b/rtopken/archive/2010/06/25/cpao-editing-the-calendar-grid-part-2.aspx - you replace the compactlist line with the source's individually - in your case, for the Month_StandardMonth01.catx, you would replace the CompactList Padding="2" Orientation="Fill" FontSize="12pt" TypeFilter="AppointmentsTasks" line <COMPACTLIST Padding="2" Orientation="Fill" FontSize="12pt" TypeFilter="AppointmentsTasks"></COMPACTLIST>with these lines: (if they don't show, it's List Orientation to /list in the code at the url above, its about 2/3 of the way down the page)

HTML:
<LIST Orientation="Fill" FontSize="8pt" TypeFilter="AppointmentsTasks" RowSize="14" MaxRowWrap="5" ShowEmptyRow="true">

<COLUMNS>

<COLUMN Bottom="2" Right="1" Top="2" Left="1" ShowDuplicates="True" Width="*">

<SOURCES>

<SOURCE Name="CalendarIcon" />

<SOURCE Name="StartTime" StartSeparator="" Format="t" />

<SOURCE Name="EndTime" StartSeparator="-" Format="t" />

<SOURCE Name="Subject" StartSeparator=": " />

</SOURCES>

</COLUMN>

</COLUMNS>

</LIST>

Thank you. That link you found has some good information.

That blog is written by one of the guys who worked on CPAO and it has a lot of good customization information. I like his example to enter the CategorySymbols source name before and after the appointment details so the appointments are tagged with the category color dot before and after.

Thanks again...I appreciate your help.
