Appointments do not update properly!

Using Outlook 2010 SP1. I have a personal calendar and a public calendar that can be viewed/revised by members of our staff. Last week I created an appointment on the public (shared) calendar for 1 PM. Yesterday I asked my assistant to change the appointment time from 1 pm to 3 pm. (no change in date/ time only). She claims that she clicked on the "Send Update" button afterwards; I even got an e-mail notification saying the appointment was change. However, I did not see the appointment change on my personal calendar like I expected. Still stuck on 1 pm. I know how to manually change on my calendar but shouldn't this have changed AUTOMATICALLY on my own personal calendar???

My assistant uses Outlook 2007 by the way. Don't know if that matters at all.

Yes, it should have updated. Are you cachingshared folders? It's probably a cache issue - empty the local cache and reload the folder. (right click on the folder, choose properties, then find the clear offline cache folder option and us it.)
