Hi there,

This is my first post and I just want to make it known that I am by no means an 'Outlook guru'. My problem is probably a simple one. I just want to add an image into my emails but every time I try to drag and drop it, the image gets added as an attachment. My colleagues tried the exact same thing on their computer and it worked. Do you think I have a certain setting turned on which is adding all my images as attachments?

Your thoughts and advice would be very much appreciated :D

Are you doing it exactly the same way? Using the same message format?

Typically, dragging a file will add an attachment, copy and paste an image open in an image editor will result in embedded image if you use HTML or RTF message format.

Hi Diane, thanks for the help. I'm next working tomorrow (Monday) so will try copy and pasting an image although I'm sure I've tried this before. I'll have to look into what kind of file format I'm using as well and will get back to you.

Thanks again:D
