I have 2 active LAN connections on this machine for work. The customer Lan does not allow

access to my pop/smtp. So I set the preferred network connection to be the one that does,

but it's not working because Outlook is returning POP errors every time it checks for new mail.

I can't get Outlook 03 to "see" the preferred network connection that I have set.

Is there a setting from within Outlook that needs to be changed?? What am I missing here?

Outlook uses the lan settings in IE. The only choices you can set in Outlook are in More Settings:

The only way to make Outlook use a specific connection is if you can set up a dial up networking connection for the correct connection and keep outlook offline.
