I have been using this combination for a few weeks. The incoming mail seems quite slow, often received well after I get it on my phone. Today I stopped getting anything on my computer but am receiving on the phone. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thank you
 
Hi Diane, I received your reply on my phone and am not sure I know what to look for. You said add the it to Quick Launch tool bar, I don't seem able to find that. I have the Quick Access window open under Outlook Options, and I don't see Macros.
 
Are you using IMAP or Exchange ActiveSync (EAS) ? Do messages appear if you switch folders or click the Update folder button?

Ignore that - I messed up and posted to the wrong thread.
 
I am using IMAP. AS far as I know, none of the settings have been changed. Over the last few days it seemed like my incoming mail was slow to be delivered so I went to the Outlook.com web site and changed the time to send/receive. I received a fairly steady stream of incoming mail today until 1:52 PM PDT. Since then I continue to receive email on my phone, but not on my computer. I sent a test message from my computer around 4:30, it showed up on my phone, but not the computer. Yikes!!!!
 
It's possible the problem is with the server - if you used automatic account setup on the phone, it should use EAS to connect, not IMAP.

Do the messages come in if you switch folders in Outlook?

What do you mean switch folders?
 
Switch from the current folder to the calendar or contacts (or any other folder) then switch back to the original folder.
