Hi all,

1st post here. I have just upgraded from Outlook 2007 to 2013. 2013 is good but I cannot find where it puts sent emails.

When I click on 'Sent items" it is empty and says "no items to show'.

I know they are somewhere as I have done a search and found that thay are there, but cannot ascertain which folder they are in.

Is there a setting I have overlooked? I have been thru all the options but cannot find a setting that says "Sent items to Sent items folder"

Any help appreciated.

Solution Outlook sent items. (email)

Hi friend,

I am familiar with your problem because last month, I also faced same problem in which I was also not getting any copies of sent mail in my sent folder in Microsoft-Outlook 2013. After a lot of search, i got the answer and now I am going to share it with you.

You have to follow some steps to make clear yourself more about this:

  • Open your Outlook-2013 and click on the “FILE” menu and go on to the “OPTION”.
  • Now, click on the “OPTION” button and navigate to “MAIL” option.
  • Check the “SAVE COPIES OF MESSAGES IN SENT ITEMS FOLDER” if this option is not selected then you have to select this option and then click on “OK” button.

Now sent a test mail and check your sent items, I am sure this will solve your bug.
