When I assign a task to my associate, she does not get an "accept/decline" option and the formatting does not fit on the page.

I can't tell if the problem is on my computer or hers ... and if I did isolate that, how do I fix it?

Check the sent folder - does it look correct there? It sounds like the TNEF data (aka winmail.dat) is getting lost - that is what adds the Accept/Decline buttons - and its being convert to HTML format. you are both using the same version of Outlook and on the same Exchange server?

See http://www.slipstick.com/problems/outlook-is-sending-winmail-dat-attachments/ for the options to check on your system - you want to send TNEF/Winmail.dat but the dialogs show what to check.

Yes, that is the problem. Outlook (or Exchange) is configured to not use RTF to internet addresses. See if it works to double click on the address in the task and set it to use RTF.
