Outlook 2013 - iCloud add-in creates issues

Outlook 2013 started not sending any email that had an attachment. In Outlook safe mode, they would go out ok. Through process of elimination, I found that disabling the iCloud add-in would fix the issue. Is there any work around that would allow the iCloud add-in to work? This computer does have Office Home 2010, and Outlook 2013 was a separate installation. Thanks
 
Well, it should work, so yes there is a workaround - we need to figure out what is causing it and fix it. :) What Antivirus/security software do you use? Are you sending it using the apple email account?
 
Thanks Diane. Since you said it should work, I uninstalled/reinstalled iCloud, seems to be fine now. One new question, it seems like iCloud created an **@me.com email account in Outlook. Is that something that was already existing in this iCloud account, and that is why it ended up in Outlook too? And is that email account the only email account that gets synced to iCloud? Thanks
 
That is your iTunes account - when you use an apple address for iTunes, it creates an imap email account. When you log into iCloud, it assumes you are using the account for email and adds it to the profile. If you don't use it, go to file, account settings, email and delete it. (If you used a non-apple account for iTunes, it would not add the email account to your profile.)

It's not really fair to say it syncs to iCloud, but yes, it's on apple's email server which is in the cloud. :)
