Hi.
I am trying to test out the new Office suite of iPad apps including the iPad Outlook OWA app (Not the web based browser one) and I am having problems.
I am using Office 2010 at work and the company uses Exchange 2007 Server. I do not want to change or upgrade the whole company and am only changing how I work individually.
First of all I need an Office 365 Business account so that is a pain and expensive, but I signed up for a free trial to check things out.
Using OWA though I am trying to setup the Account and our Exchange 2007 (EAS) server. However, it is not working and keeps rejecting the address. I am setting this up online at the Office 365 site. My first question is maybe Exchange 2007 is not actually supported by Office 365 and OWA. Does anyone know this answer?
Assuming is supported then what is the problem? I can use that same server address on my native iPad mail app without any problems and I know that OWA and ActiveSync are all turned on by our IT people.
ANY ADVICE?
