I am having an embedding issue occur within certain paths of the BCM. I have followed the course of action that involves making the change to the registry.

This allows me to send a message with my correct signature only when I send from the main outlook scree. Ex.

However, If I try to send an email from any type of marketing campaign, as well as from a contact page within the BCM my signature still does not embed.

I am running Windows 7 professional with outlook 2013 32 bit and bcm x86. Do I need to load outlook 64 bit to correct this? Is there a better solution? I am a novice when it comes to this system.

Thanks for your response, Diane. It is not just doing it in yahoo. The same thing happens in my hotmail and google account. The sig embeds the way I want it to when I send a message straight from my outlook. but not from marketing campaigns, etc in BCM. I just used my yahoo account as an example.

Correct, RTF format is supported only by Outlook - so you'll have this experience with webmail and other mail clients - only outlook can decode a winmail.dat. Because its BCM sending, you may need to use the nuclear option and kill RTF completely: http://www.slipstick.com/problems/outlook-is-sending-winmail-dat-attachments/#fails This will prevent Voting and task assignments from working - not a problem if you don't use either.

Thanks Diane, Why does this not effect my signature when I send from the main page of outlook?

Because when you send from outlook, it's being sent as HTML. BCM is using RTF format for some reason, and Outlook is not converting them to HTML on send.

Thanks again. As I mentioned before, this is not a knowledgeable area for me. So, I am proceeding forward with extreme caution.

I have located the full header in the yahoo email and do not see "winmail.dat' anywhere in it. I do see this:
Authentication-Results: mta1425.mail.gq1.yahoo.com from=boatxtreme.com; domainkeys=neutral (no sig); from=boatxtreme.com; dkim=neutral (no sig)

Is the above still the right course of action?

Content type can indicate it's TNEF (you'll get multipart with html too, but not usually multipart/mixed) - X-MS-TNEF does indicate it's RTF and the problem is the winmail.dat that yahoo and others can't handle.

Would you know why the BCM shows up on my vertical menu but not accross the bottom as it does in all the videos. If I remove and reload the bcm it shows up when I open Outlook to complete the setup, it is there. However, when I close Outlook and open it again it is gone.

thanks again!

is it under the 3 dots? if not, it usually means outlook disabled it, but it sure doesn't look disabled - it should show in the folder list if its disabled.
