I've been using recurring tasks for many years. Sometime in the past year or two, I've started having an odd result for tasks with the recurrence set to regenerate nn days after the task is completed.
I have one right now that is misbehaving. Here are the current settings:
Start date: 5/27/14
Due date: 6/09/14
Reminder: 6/09/14 (Checked)
Recurrence: Regenerate 2 days after task completes
This task was created over a year ago. I have no idea how the start date got set to day after tomorrow.
If I mark the task 100% complete and close it, then reopen it, none of these settings change. Why didn't the new due date change to 2 days from now, which is when I marked it complete?
It occurred to me that the problem might be the Start Date, which is in the future, although I didn't get any error message. So I changed it to 2/01/14. When I did that, the other dates changes as well:
Start date: 2/01/14
Due date: 2/14/14
Reminder: 2/14/14 (Checked)
Weird. Now I marked it 100% complete, saved it, and reopened it. Now the dates are all back to what they were above:
Start date: 5/27/14
Due date: 6/09/14
Reminder: 6/09/14 (Checked)
What the heck is going on and how can I get it to behave properly?
