Hello
Like the GPO setting suggests, PSTDISABLE GROW relates to this setting
"Prevent users from adding new content to existing PST files"
Can anyone tell me what are the limits of this value. I know that it applies to user based PST files, but does it also apply to SharePoint PST files?
Thanks in advance

Hi

Please correct me if Im wrong but I've set this value to 1 and it disallows adding new mail items to the PST file in the user profile. However, It seems that I am still able to use the autoarchive feature; ie archive old items to PST file.
My question is this;
Does the DisablePSTGrow concern ALL pst files? If so, shouldnt the PST file used for archiving also be affected this setting PSTDisableGrow =1?
Many thanks in advance

Hi
Many thanks for your reply. It seems that PSTDISABLE GROW= 1 does work.
The option to autoarchive remains possible, but at the moment of Autoarchive an error message appears saying that the user does nto have permission to carry out the operation. Can be slightly misleading, but it does make sense(!)
Thanks again
