add contacts to shared contacts distribution list

I'm running Outlook 2010. I have access (editor\owner) permissions to someone else's shared contacts. How do I add a member to that person's distribution list when that person already has the contact information? I've tried adding it from Outlook contacts and Address book, but I can only see my own and not theirs. I also tried Add a New Contact, I'd have to enter each display name and their email address to the distribution list, which seems daunting to do.


As far as I know, there is not a way to update or create a Contact Group in a shared mailbox. You would need to open the mailbox as the owner, not as a shared mailbox.
