I can make a view that colors or filter items for the next week or next month, but what I'm trying to do is filter the view to only today and future events.

The value field is blank, but if I could use that, I'd have a handle on it.

But am I missing something obvious?

Actually a monthly view starting with Today instead of the beginning of the month would also work.

Monthly view starting today is a no-go - you can get a next 7 days views (I think 2010 has a Next 7 days button) but its like the week view, not a month view. You can select 2 - 6 weeks in the navigation calendars and start on the first day of the week but not start 'today'.

You can use Start - on or after - today - it will show all appointments due in the future. It will show old recurring events that have occurrences in the future too. The only way to prevent that is to filter out all recurring events too.

That wasn't me. :) Sue Mosher was and no, she's no longer there, she's back in the US.
